One of our committee members - Malcolm Earls, is running the Dublin
City Marathon in aid of Wicklow Tidy Towns and he'd like your support. A
sponsorship card is available in Wicklow Town Hall if you could spare a
few euro.
Wicklow Town has, once again, been commended by the judges and has
retained its position as the 3rd tidiest town in County Wicklow with a
score of 274 points, an increase of 4 points on 2010.

Well done to all the towns and villages in County Wicklow. It's great
to see the County looking so well and the results are an indication of
the hard work carried out by all the volunteers though out our Garden
County.
Get involved
Naturally, the extent of our works
is dependant on the level of funding available to us
and, of course, the willingness of local people to
volunteer a small amount of their time. If anyone would be interested in helping out with
Tidy Towns, they can contact 086 2293126 for more
information or just text their contact details to this
number for inclusion in our contact list. It isn't necessary to commit to any fixed number
of hours - people can come along to help out whenever
they can. Work usually takes place on
Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the spring/summer months,
reverting to Saturday mornings/afternoons in
Autumn/Winter.
